Purpose

We are committed to our care home ‘Casa Esperanza’ in which we want to offer the Bolivian children of Uypaca a safe home, adequate training and a better future.

Esperanza, or Hope. Hope for a fine school, hope for a better future. Hope for Roberto, whose parents live far away. Hope for Isabel, whose parents had difficulties with raising. And hope for Marcelo, who had to walk more than two hours each day to attend school. These children and others can go to Casa Esperanza, where they can stay during the schoolweek. For all children exiting on the very first day, but the tension quickly makes place for fun and relaxation. In recent years, Stichting Esperanza Bolivia has received a clear goal and a clear vision in mind, that we want to offer the children of Uypaca, Bolivia a better school and a better future.

A greenhouse and chicken coop provide a bit of self-sufficiency, but it is also educational for the children, who help to take care of this every day.

From 2006 to 2018 this project was an independent company of the Esperanza Bolivia Foundation. Since the beginning of 2018, the project has been transferred to the German organization BKHW (www. Https://www.bkhw.org/) and the Esperanza Bolivia Foundation supports them financially, to keep this project running.
